How do I schedule an appointment with Dr. Melissa Fogle?

What should I expect during my first therapy session?

Prior to beginning individual therapy a consultation session is conducted. During this session your presenting issues are discussed and Dr. Fogle takes a detailed history. Recommendations are made and a treatment approach and schedule is provided. For children, only parents participate in the consultation session. This provides an opportunity for parents to candidly discuss concerns. Following that meeting, the next session typically involves the parents and the child/adolescent meeting.

How long is each therapy session?

Individual therapy sessions are 45-50 minutes long. If you feel you need more time, extended sessions can be offered.

What therapeutic approaches does Dr. Fogle use?

Dr. Fogle utilizes a variety of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy (ERP), Play Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to individual needs.

Does Dr. Fogle offer virtual or remote sessions?

Dr. Fogle offers telehealth sessions that are provided through a secure, HIPAA compliant system. The system is user friendly and you may join from the privacy of your own environment.

Is therapy confidential?

Yes, therapy is confidential. Dr. Fogle adheres to strict confidentiality guidelines, ensuring your privacy and trust are maintained.

What ages does Dr. Fogle work with?

Dr. Fogle provides therapy for individuals of all ages, including pediatric, adolescent, and adult therapy. Beginning at age 3.

Does Dr. Fogle specialize in any specific areas?

Yes, Dr. Fogle specializes in various areas, including Individual Therapy, Parent Training, and Coaching Sessions for a variety of issues including adjustment and stress, divorce-related issues, as well as anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, and many other types of psychopathology using treatment modalities such as CBT, ERP, DBT, and play therapy.

How often are therapy sessions typically scheduled?

Session frequency depends on your individual concerns and is discussed during the consultation session.

Does Dr. Fogle accept insurance?

Dr. Fogle is a private pay, out-of-network provider. This means she does not accept insurance. However, she can provide documentation for you to submit the services to your health insurance carrier for reimbursement.
